Jason - I have not delved into other areas of corporate governance, but is there not already some streamlined corporate governance frameworks better suited than CobiT?

One interesting aspect of Cobit in my mind, is that with some thought about some elements, it can become an enterprise program governance model. If IT can lead the use of CoBit throughout the organisation, there is the possibility of common Governance language in the organisation, and this may then have significant benefits back to IT as the wider organisation will be better aware of strong processes and governence
