CobiT 4.1 Released

by Bill Oxley

I’m on vacation but thought I would point out that CobiT 4.1 has been released in early May, as promised. Download it here.

I know there are no major changes, yet I’m anxious to get started with some of my plans for CobiT – just feels better to be using the new version.

Dear Sir,

This is John Lee from China and I am writing to ask for some help about IT governance in the e-government here.

As we all know, Chinese economy is growing fast. Along with it, our indurstrial informationization is develping well, too. However, some problems have appeared in our IT implementmentation, which definitely need IT governance to solve. While IT governance is comparatively new to us, it is getting more and more attention in enterprises now.

As a member of the government, I care more about the IT governance issue in our e-government construction. Unlike in companies, it is too complicated to calculate the value created by IT in our public depeartments. So, how can we carry out IT governance that is also absolutely essencial in e-government? I just began to know about this area and would like to learn more from experts like you. Could you send me some documents about IT governance in E-Government? My email address: lzhqwww@hotmail.com.

Thanks,

Sincerely yours,

John Lee
